Activities for healing

These activities are here to help you in processing the BIG emotions you are experiencing. You will only get out of the exercise what you put into it, so it is helpful to check-in with yourself before beginning and after completing the exercises.

What are you feeling right now?

If it’s difficult to label your feeling, you can use this feeling wheel to help.

Check In:

Before you starting your exercises, check-in with yourself:

  1. On a scale from 1 - 10 (10 is high and 1 is low), where is my _______(list your feeling word) right now?

  2. Write it down and make a note of it in your journal, on your phone - somewhere.

After completing your exercise, check-in with yourself again:

  1. On a scale from 1 - 10 (10 is high and 1 is low), where is my _______(list your feeling word) right now?

  2. Write it down in your journal.

  3. Pay attention to how you are feeling now and write about your experience in your journal to share with me at your next session.

After taking your tour why not make a homemade “passport” and write about your experience? How did you feel before your “trip”? Were you able to fully engage during your tour? What did you notice? How did your mood shift during and after the tour?

You can also take this opportunity to experience an Opera, Symphony, or a show on Broadway?
